Follow These 7 Short Steps Daily, And You Will Have Clear Skin Permanently. No Seriously.

We’ve all been there. Staring down that angry pimple that looks like all it needs is an innocent little squeeze…only to end up with an acne scar that lasts for days. If you’re tired of this scenario playing out on a weekly basis, there are many options available to you, including the ‘nuclear option’ aka, a prescription acne medication. The problem with most of these solutions is they can often leave your healthy looking skin, well, not so healthy looking. Chemical acne fixes can cause your skin to be dry, flaky and even rashy and irritated.

Want a long-term solution to your problem? Because there is one.

Follow these following 7 steps daily, and on a consistent basis, and you will end up with skin that is gorgeous and problem-free in no time.

Editors Note: We recommend doing these steps right before bed time.

Step 1: Open Up Those Pores.

After a long days work, your pores are dirty and need to be able to breath. To clean them out, run a face cloth under hot water and immediately press it to your face. The water and steam will work to open those pores and clean the dirt.

Step 2: Do The Cleanse.

Next, wash your hands well with a combination of soap and warm water. This will help you to avoid transferring any dirt and oil from your hands when you touch your face. We recommend you use your favourite facial cleanser at this point. Using circular motions, massage the cleanser into your face for roughly half a minute. Rinse with warm water. TIP: Cold water closes pores, warm/hot water opens them. Then pat dry your face softly with a towel.

Step 3: Exfoliate.

Next you’ll be making a quick and highly effective exfoliating scrub. To do this, mix 2 tablespoons of water with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir them together until you have a thin paste. Add another 1/2 tablespoon of sugar at this point and stir briefly. Wet your fingers and apply the paste onto your face, massaging it into your skin in circular motions. Spend at least 1 min massaging onto each of the 3 parts of your face (left side, right side and forehead). Rinse with warm water afterwards.

Step 4: Tone – Phase 1.

Cute a lemon in half and squeeze it into a small bowl. Dip your fingers into the lemon juice and spread it evenly around your face. Keep it on for at least 10 seconds. If the lemon juice makes your skin start to burn, keep it on for only 5 seconds (you sensitive!). Next, rinse your face with warm/hot water, but don’t dry yet!

Step 5: Tone – Phase 2.

This one’s our favourite step. Using the lemon half you have just squeezed, pour half a teaspoon of honey into the cut side of the lemon. Then, using the lemon as an applicator, apply the honey onto your face in gentle but firm circular motions. Do this for no more than 30 seconds. Wash your face with warm/hot water, and pat dry your face with a towel.

Step 6: Close Up Those Pores.

Turn your cold water tap on, and splash your face with some ice cold water. Try not to touch your face directly. For bonus points, get an ice cube and rub it all over your face and neck area. This is a guarantee that your pores will close up, preventing the introduction of dirt and grime. Dry your face and don’t forget to moisturize!

Step 7: Repeat Daily!

Ok, so we lied. It’s technically 6 steps you have to follow for gorgeous looking skin. But this point is so important it deserves its own step. Be consistent and do this daily! It might seem time consuming at first, but stick to it for at least a week. You’ll likely start seeing positive results at that point, and that should hopefully be motivation enough to make this skin therapy part of your daily routine.
