Loaded Oreo And M&M Cookie Bars
Oreo And M&M Cookie Bars Ingredients:
1/2 cup of unsalted butter (or 1 stick), melted
1 large egg
1 cup of well packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of all-purpose flour
18 Oreo Cookies, chopped coarsely (You can use plain Oreos, cupcake Oreos, or any other type of Oreos that you like)
Approximately 1/2 cup of M&M’s (You can use whatever kind you like, but we recommend plain)
Oreo And M&M Cookie Bars Directions:
Begin by preheating your oven to 350. Then, take an 8X8″ baking pan and line it with aluminum foil. Lightly spray the foil with nonstick spray. Melt your butter and allow it to cool slightly before adding the egg. Then, add the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Whisk the ingredients together until they are smooth. Add the flour but be very careful not to over-mix it. Stir in the Oreo cookie pieces, and pour the batter into the pan. Gently smooth out the top layer of the mix and pour M&Ms over the top. Bake the cookie bar in the oven for approximately 20 minutes or until it has finished cooking. When it has finished cooking, the top will not jiggle and the edges will be a bit firm. Remove from the oven when it has finished cooking, and allow it to cool for approximately a half an hour. Then, you can slice up your cookie bars and dig in!
