If you’re at all serious about photography, then you’re probably familiar with the WPPI. For the rest of us, WPPI stands for Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. Every year, they host a premier industry event in Las Vegas, where you can find the rock-stars of the photography world gather around to talk shop and to test the latest products. The WPPI also hosts the prestigious annual WPPI Print, Album and Filmmaking Competitions. Winners are bestowed the title of ‘Grand Master’ – the organization’s highest honor, along with a beautiful crystal trophy and cash. There are several major and minor Divisions into which a photograph can be entered, including Portraits, Photojournalism, Creative and Weddings. Below are the winners and runner-ups to each of the wedding-related categories. The style and level of finesse in these photos is truly stunning.
