Three Easy, Energizing Yoga Poses You Can Do Even In Bed!
Seated forward fold – Simply bend at your waist and reach for your feet. Your legs should be stretched straight out in front of you. Hold the post for a few seconds and release.
Cat Pose – Start on your hands and knees with your wrists directly under your shoulders, and your knees directly under your hips. Point your fingertips to the top of your bed. Place your knees and shins hip-width apart. Center your head and gaze downward. Pull your belly up towards your spine and round your back up towards your ceiling (like a cat!)For further clarification, check out the infographic below.
Fish Pose – Start by lying on your back with your legs extended in front of you and your arms resting alongside your body, palms down. Press your forearms and elbows into your bed and lift your chest to create an arch in your upper back. Lift your shoulder blades and upper torso off your bed. Tilt your head back and bring the crown of your head down to the bed. Keep pressing through your hands and forearms. Very little weight should be pressing through your head.
